Past few days have been truly exciting . I met lots of people from different cultures and backgrounds. British , Pakistanis , Indians , Srilankan and bangaladeshis. But what happened in the bus to office today was incredible. I was talking to my friends about the strategic groups in America and Britain whose job is to find out ways to keep their country on Top of the world when we were interrupted by the Driver of the Bus (Pakistani). He jumped into the discussion and gave a simple solution to problems of the third world. TALIBAN. In his views mulla omar is a hero who helps the poor and shares his food with them. During the discussion he even made a comment which i am never going to forget.
"Mulla omar is a hero who helps the poor , Even your country had some of them , like Gandhi sahib" -- A taliban supporter

Perhaps it was just a case of ill-informed and illiterate paki exercising his right of free speech...
thousands of ppl in india have such opinions!
I doubt that thousands in India will compare mullah omar with mahatma gandhi.
It might be some ill informed man speaking, but the problem arises when millions of them are ill informed(think) in the same way.
